Delete your account

You can delete your Swipe for Dinner account yourself, at any time, from inside the app.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Swipe for Dinner on your phone.
  2. 2Go to Settings.
  3. 3Tap Delete account and confirm.

What is deleted

Straight away, when you confirm:

  • Your profile (email address and name)
  • Your food preferences
  • Your swipes and notices
  • Any recipes you wrote, and the photos you uploaded

We keep one anonymous record that an account was deleted (the date, whether it was in a couple, and whether it had a trial or a paid plan). It has nothing that identifies you.

What happens to your couple

  • If you created the couple, it ends. Your partner keeps their own account.
  • If you were invited, your partner keeps the couple, without your data.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.
